Tracy Jackson

Tracy Jackson is Chief Financial Officer for Prospect Mortgage, a $10 billion retail mortgage originator located in Sherman Oaks, California. Prospect was built through the acquisition of multiple mortgage origination businesses.  Tracy led the financial review and acquisition of the origination businesses for Sterling Capital Partners, a $4 billion private equity investor with headquarters in Chicago. Previously, Tracy served as Chief Financial Officer for SouthStar Funding, Principal Residential Mortgage Corporation and Market Street Mortgage. As Chief Financial Officer for these companies, Tracy has worked to finance and grow both retail and wholesale origination companies. He has helped manage companies with large servicing portfolios, as well as, multiple origination channels.

Tracy holds a masters degree in accounting from the University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Malone College. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in multiple states and is a member of National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst.

After 22 years as a CFO in the mortgage industry, Tracy will be leaving Prospect Mortgage on December 31 and returning to Florida as a partner in Jackson and Associates, CPA, PA. The firm has a sizable local middle market business client base. It is expanding its focus to include consulting to the Mortgage Industry and business valuation services to middle market companies.
